Kimberly F. Owens, M.D.

Dr. Owens is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. She is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with focus in Pre-Medical studies, magna cum laude. She was a 4-year letterman for the Auburn University Softball Team. She earned her medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and specialized in family medicine at St. Vincent’s East in Birmingham.
After residency, she joined George H. Lanier Health Services in Valley, which later transitioned to EAMC-Lanier in 2014. Dr. Owens also serves as the medical director at the Sav-a-Life pregnancy resource center in Lanett, Ala. She is a clinical preceptor for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn. She is active in the Alabama and American Academies of Family Medicine as well as the Christian Medical and Dental Associations.
Dr. Owens grew up in north Alabama. She is married with two children, and enjoys being outdoors, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, attending Auburn softball and baseball games, and participating in Kids Ministry at First Baptist Church of Opelika.
